Forest School at Junction Farm
Our Forest School at Junction Farm increases children’s confidence and self-esteem through exploration, problem solving and risk taking. This fantastic resource is accessible for the whole school and supports many aspects of the curriculum.
Forest School is also beneficial for our emotional wellbeing. We have set up many birdhouses and hedgehog homes, creating a peaceful environment to relax and play.
Forest School has been a big part of our community with many local residents and companies donating resources and tools. We have invited parents to plant new trees, shrubs and plants with their children to inspire more young green fingers! We are always very grateful for any donations to Forest School.
Forest School offers an after-school club that further enhances children’s knowledge and explorations.
We are in the process of creating a bank of planning, resources and CPD to encourage all staff to feel confident when taking children into Forest School.
